Dr Aditya Manke & Sanjivani Cancer Care has been recognized by ISSPP (International society of Pleura and Peritoneum) and ISPSM (Indian society of Peritoneal Surface Malignancy) to provide the new technique of Chemotherapy delivery - Pressurized Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy also known as PIPAC. PIPAC is a new novel technique of chemotherapy delivery for advanced peritoneal cancers from ovary, appendix, stomach and intestine who have failed multiple lines of chemotherapy. PIPAC in trials has shown more than 60 percent efficacy in controlling the disease progression and symptoms and needs to be given only once in 6 weeks for 3 cycles as compared to either 3 weekly or weekly chemotherapy regimens. PIPAC has no systemic toxicity and is very well tolerated as compared to traditional chemotherapy. Sanjivani Cancer Care is now a ISSPP & ISPSM recognized centre for PIPAC treatment.
